03feb2008 a step further.

i have a brother-in-law now ahah.
yj has finally proposed to sis! ahah
so happie for them.

stepping into the next stage of them life, what future holds for them?
to take the step into committing themselves for the rest of their life, i guess it takes alot of courage.

i've always thought about this issue.
what gives one the courage to decide that they're willing to spend the rest of their life with another person.
spending their rest of their life together will mean
having to look into their face the first thing in the morning
having to look into their face before u face asleep at night
having to face them everywhere u step in the house
having to face them when making any decision be it big or small
having to face them every min, every day.
will it comes a day where they'll run out of topics to talk abt
will it come a day when u get sick and scared of facing that person
will it comes a day when u regret living this life

its quite a scary thing to have another person entirely into ur life and you into his. its hard to predict what will happen in the future. when the sparks and chemistry dies down, what can u do to sustain the relationship? responsibility is one thing, but i think it shouldnt be the element to keep a relationship going. wont that make the relationship a burden then?

when transformed to become a burden, unhappiness follows.
quarrels will get hurting, faith will fade.
promises become liabilities, concerns become unbearable insistent nagging.

when people start to speak in different language of love.
will you be blind enough to not see it.
will you be stupid enough to say hurting words just to vent the anger.
will you be stubborn enough to not yield.
will you be gracious enough to say sorry.
will you be stingy enough to not admit your love.
it all boils down to these;
understand. trust. belief.

how is it that loving someone can be both painful and blissful at the same time?

why is it that even when its painful, people cant make themselves give it up?

how is it that love makes people form these attachment so strong that it gets more painful when you decide to give it up?

why is it hard to let go, when you could be happier without it?

how ready are people to give their love to another?
such that they're willing to accomodate to every part of another's life and habits.
such that they're willing to accept their faults, forgive them and protect them for ever and ever.
such that they'll treasure another's life as much as they treasure their's.

love is such a miraculous thing; for it can produce miracles.
these miracles bring light and happiness into lives.
these miracles touch people's hearts.
these miracles are what people live for.

but love is indeed something weird too.
